How much does smoking age your skin? Is the damage done reversible if you quit?

I have been smoking a little over a pack a day for eight years. I am only twenty, but I have lines on my forehead that lead me to believe my habit is prematurely aging my skin. I quit smoking last week, and i am wondering if my skin will improve. Is there any way for me to get rid of these aging lines, or am I permanently screwed?

How much does smoking age your skin? Is this damage reversible if you quit at a young age?

I am 20, and I have been smoking a little over a pack a day since I was 13. My skin is becoming dry, irregularly colored, and I have recently noticed two deep lines on my forehead. Is it possible to reverse this damage if I quit smoking now, or am I forever doomed to look older than I actually am?

What is a good way to quit smoking without medicine or patches or anything like that?

I would love to quit smoking without any of that. I am slowly starting to smoke less, like I’m down from a pack a day to less than a half a pack a day. Could I start eating candy or chewing gum when I want a cigarette? What did you guys do to quit?

How did you quit smoking cigarettes and were you successful the first time?

I smoke about a half pack a day and I’m a runner, I want to quit for many reasons, mostly financial and health related (I’m healthy now but I know smoking is seriously harmful)… So how did you quit and how many times did it take?
Please don’t just answer "I never started" or "Don’t smoke", I know, that is obvious!

How do you quit smoking when your spouse smokes?

I really want to stop smoking before it takes a toll on me in any way. I hate the smell of cigarettes on my clothes and the transfer from my sheets to my bedding. We don’t smoke in our home except the bathroom. The main problem is I’ve tried to quit before (I smoke half a pack a day) but my DH smokes two packs a day and when he smokes when he gets home it makes it hard for me to quit. What do I do and/or what’s the best way to quit?
