Hi! I’m trying to quit smoking, but I believe that my addiction is primarily behavior. I’m looking for a fake cigarette of some kind (Styrofoam, plastic, electronic) that is affordable (no e-cig) and I can buy in person or from a reputable online seller? I’ve found some cigarettes online, from places like Better quit and EZ quit, but the websites don’t look legit. Any ideas?

Check with the dealer or manufacturer to confirm that the e-cig cartridges are refillable. Or, if you are not interested in refilling your own cartridges, find out which cartridges are available where you live, or can be easily ordered online.
Keep in mind that if you choose to refill your e-cig cartridges, not only will you save money, but you can purchase smoke juice that does not contain propylene glycol. While the FDA has approved propylene glycol as safe for consumption, no long-term studies have been conducted – particularly for inhaling it with an atomizer – so you will need to decide whether or not it is worth the risk. E-cigs are already safer alternatives for smokers, but by taking this one additional step and avoiding propylene glycol, you might be able to make it even safer.

I bought these. I quit after a few months. The starter kit is sorta expensive… but after that first expensive thing… the cartridges (the equivalent of a pack, basically) are $4 – $5 each, so it it was cheaper in the long run. No tar in them! No carcinogens ( the cancer-causing stuff). And no bad after-smell, so you can really smoke them in an office or your house, and there is no smell. ANd no secondhand smoke, which is like really good for other people! Overall, it is cheaper than regular cigarettes. So yeah… I highly recommend Blu Cigarettes, which I posted the link to. They tastes good, worked well, never ever broke or anything, rechargeable battery, has a little pack to keep them in, ships quickly.. It’s legit. 😀 Good luck!
There are a number of e cigarettes available from reputable companies. You just have to sift through reviews and see which one fits your situation. There are several here on this e cigarette review site.
I know exactly where you are coming from because I was in that same place you are now. I bought my first e-cigarette from a site somewhere in China and it only cost me $30 but lasted only 3 weeks. I tried the electronic cigarettes (a reputable brand), and I gotta say, what a waste of money. Seriously, it’s nothing like smoking a real cigarette and I got zero satisfaction from using them. And stop kidding yourself. If you’re looking for a substitute rather than just quitting the damn things, then you’re physically addicted to the nicotine and other garbage they put in there.
If I were you, I’d look into the cabbage-based cigarettes. At least then you’re really smoking something. The "fake" cigarettes are a waste of time and money.

Best thing ive ever bought in my life, E cigs are not toys to play around with, Theres alot of over priced garbage ones out there that people see advertised and they buy them and they turn out to be junk. Its very common. But if you do your research the best e cigs are not 1 third of the price that the most advertised e cigs are, Ive been using mine for 8 months and ill use it for as long as I live, Its extremely similar to smoking but alot better in many aspects,Its not 100% exactly like smoking but you wont find anything closer, The main differences are the taste when it comes down to it, The tobacco flavors they have are great, They taste like a fresh pack of real cigs like when you first open them, Ive found one e juice that does resemble that of a burning tobacco cig though, I enjoy e cigs more than real cigarettes . It gives me the same feeling I got from cigs and it tastes so much better too, I have my normal breathing back, I dont cough, Feel tired etc… So if you are interested in an e cig the 510 model in the link above would be perfect to start with., There are many online stres that sell them. I smoked 2 – 3 packs a day and this is the only thing that worked.
