  1. Hello Robb,

My wife smoked for over 10 years and when she found out that she was pregnant with our now newborn 3 months old daughter, she had promised me that if I found a good solution for quitting, she will try her best to kick the habit.

Well in my spare time I started researching online for quit smoking programs, meanwhile she was trying out patches and gums that you can buy at grocery stores and adventually they would not work for her.

After about a week of researching I had stumbled over a website that really impressed me on what they had to offer and that they actually say that they can almost guarantee your success, and most importantly that you can try it out for free.

The company has been around for over 20 years now and they have helped over a million smokers quit since and their kit has everything that you possibly need to help you quit smoking, I thought WoW that is impressive.

I went ahead and ordered the free trial for my wife (only paid for shipping) and she has quit smoking in just two weeks and she doesn’t want to hear about or smell another cigarette again in her life 🙂

Now it is up to you, but since my wife has quit, I was so happy about her success, so much so that I had built a small review site of the product to also help other people quit, you can check it out at; http://endthehabitnow.com if you want to find out more.

    P.S. Also available for Canada.

Thanks for reading my short story, I hope it helps, good luck and stay healthy.

  2. I went cold turkey after about 8 trials with other things (hypnosis.pills etc.) I have heard the new drug chandrix or something works great. Ask your Dr. about it and GL…I have been smoke free for about 8 yrs now.

  3. I don’t know if there’s any connection, but I think anxiety leads a lot of people to smoke. Try St. John’s wort, and also Dong Quai – both have pretty good anti-anxiety effects. Best luck.
PS: Get a big bag of baby carrots and cellery and eat them during the day rather than smoke. That gives your hands something to do and are good for you!!!

  4. the most natural and best way is to just not do it. taking pills, putting on patches, or chewing gum are not "natural". i quit smoking many times with pills, patches, "herbal" remedies, ect with no success. once i decided that cigarettes were absolutely repulsive and making me sick, i had no trouble quitting. it has been a year and 6 months and i must say it is wonderful to never be worried about when and how i’m going to get my next nicotine fix.

  5. Educate yourself thoroughly on the way your lungs work, and develop a sense of appreciation for you body. Indulge in knowledge about the negative effects of smoking. Find someone to help you quit. A friend can go miles when old habits need to be broke.
i tried the patch, the gum, and a lot of negative feedback from my mom… but nothing worked. It wasn’t until I had three terms of anatomy that I fully realized the damage I was doing to my body and developed the motivation to quit for good. After 6 year of smoking, I’ve been smoke free for almost a year now. Two months to go!

  6. I know someone who quit the day he had a heart attack. He just decided it was time, and gave up for good. His health is brilliant now. It was a decision. You can make that decision and go for it. You don’t have to wait for a heart attack first

  7. just throw them out. and go threw the withdrawal…no easy task.

those things will kill you. think of having throat cancer, or having a lung removed, or omg, how much smokers stink…yuk. and, the money u have to spend for this discusting habit.

    throw them out!!!!

  8. I recommend you to read the book from Allen Carr "Allen Carr’s easy way to stop smoking" from the first to the last page.
Than you decide a date, when you will become a nonsmoker (I set a date two weeks from the time, I decided to quit smoking).
Smoke all you want in that time, but prepare your mind, that you only will be smoking until that date. Get to Allen Carr’s Web page (www.allen-carr.at) and have them send you supportive letters for one week (it’s free). There is nothing other than your mind, that can help you stop smoking. And don’t forget! Your mind is powerful. You just have to set it right.
There are no herbs, no gums, nothing that can make it easier for you. With nicotine gums and parches, all you do is kidding yourself. What you want is, to get the nicotine OUT OF YOUR BODY, not triggering it with more. That’s all just big money making.
Also you have to be very clear with yourself, that from that set date on, you never again will be smoking any cigarette. You have to promise this to yourself very seriously.
From the moment you have stopped, enjoy the sensation that your breathing is becoming better, you smell better and your ability to test and smell will improve.
I did it and I smoked for 38 years. I’m a very happy Non-smoker now. Good luck and strength! Only the first few days are somewhat hard. YOU CAN DO IT!!
