What is the easiest way to quit smoking cigarettes?
I have tried the patches and that didn’t work, is there anyway that I can quit smoking that will actually work, with out going cold turkey.

There are two addictions one has to deal with, psychological and physical. I had smoked for fifteen years before I finally quit. During that span of time I tried the patch, the gum and hypnosis, but nothing worked more than a day or so. Finally, I just quit cold turkey.
It took about three months to get it out of my head but I haven’t smoked since; it has been fourteen years now.
Chew a lot of gum. Get something to play with to keep your hand busy.
You need to quit or you will die because of it… Period!
smoking is addictive, so, if you feel like quitting it, what i tried was–stop thinking abt smoking….when u feel the urge, chew a chewing gum, or drink a cup of coffee, connect and be-friend nature, try out gardening, if you smoke, punish yourself by depriving yourself of something u wud like to do / eat / drink,…..
alternately, if you do not smoke for 1 day, rewards yourself….something small, peppy…do something good for urself…or some1 else..
quitting to smoke takes time and requires a lot of will power
The problem with cold turkey is that you have to suffer through a few days of physical addiction, but after that its all mental. just hold out for the first 3 days. then aim for 3 weeks, and so on.
