I have been smoking for 10 months and i used to smoke around 5 Cigarettes a day……Now my Fiance seriously wants me to quit smoking completely….I didn’t smoked for one whole week but then again i started smoking one or two cigarettes. Whenever i get up after sleep or sit where my friends are smoking. I feel like smoking. Please tell me how can i quit it completely….!!!!
I tried to stop smoking over and over again before finally finding a method to quit smoking that actually worked long term.
The best way to stop smoking is to completely change your location for one week. This can be timed to go along with a vacation or you can specifically plan to be out of town or away from home for a week in order to stop smoking. The change of scenery and routine completely changes your cravings, which are largely habit based. Without your same daily routine, your craving for cigarettes will be interrupted.
You must get through the first day. You will probably not feel the craving for cigarettes the first day because of the upheaval of your routine. To help this along, try to make your routine for the week as different from your normal day as possible. Get up at a completely different time, eat your meals at different times than you normally would and change your bedtime for he week.
Stay busy all day and the third day will soon be over.
After a week away, the nicotine will be out of your system and you will feel better than you have in a long time. Going home again can be stressful because you may fear that you will fall into your own patterns, In order to keep this from happening, make a new routine at home to keep you from craving a cigarette. This can mean changing which rooms you spend time in or taking a walk after dinner instead of lighting up. With a new routine, you won’t miss smoking as much. The air will smell sweeter and your food will taste better.
start smoking half a cigarette at a time and slowly smoke for shorter amounts of time and eventually not smoke at all. it will take time, but it may work.
Just quit like that, it’s hard at the beginning but it gets easier with time, just don’t give in.

Good luck.
Just think of all the things going through in your body!Hope this helps!
ur smoking isnt kinda problem,
as u smoke little, only 5 in whole day,
think u enjoy the puffing,
the best way i suggest, avoid the friends those who smokes,
if u want to stop it seriously.
just stop. In concept it might seem difficult…but in reality it actually isnt. If you get cravings to smoke, do something else to counter the craving. Eat something, or drink something. Anything that’ll substitute smoking a cigarette.
yes, smoke less and less… until you don’t want it anymore.
If you only smoke 1 to 2 cigarettes a day, then you can easily quit. The question you have to ask yourself is, do you want to quit? The willingness to quit has to come from you and not your fiance.
The best bet is to try different smoking cessation methods and see which one works for you.
These include the Nicotine Gum, Nicotine Patches, Inhaler, Electronic Cigarette. Personally I think hypnotism is a joke simply because it only deals with the mental addiction of smoking cigarettes, but ignores the physical addiction. That’s how I look at it and how I was able to quit successfully. You are addicted in two senses:
1. Physical Addiction – Craving for cigarettes, nicotine
2. Mental Addiction – Having a ‘crutch’ when you’re stressed, etc. Getting hooked on the repetition of holding a cigarette, especially while socializing (out with friends).
Once I realized this, I ditched the idea of the patches or gum because I missed holding a cigarette while I drove, while I was out at the bar, on a smoke break at work, etc. I tried the inhaler but it gave me dry mouth, which I thought was odd. Ultimately (as I say in my blog http://www.quitnicotine.org I used an Electronic Cigarette to help me quit for good, so I feel that’s the way to go.
I know there are thousands out there who have used the gum or patches or other methods to quit successfully though, so all I can say is try them one-by-one and find the one that works for you.
Hope things work out for you!

I’ve tried just about every method there is out there and there is only one I can recommend – NLP! It eliminates the cravings.
Gum patches and all the other just did not cut it for me, not to mention cold turkey which was the hardest, I even tried the electric cig and it is just no match to the real thing.

Good luck kicking the habit!

My husband is the same way. I bought him the product Green Smoke and so far it seems to be working on him… It is alot healthier for him and it taste alot better he says too.
It is actually an e-cigarette but its unique that it is a 2 part cigarette as opposed to the 3 part ones. it is so simple! And there is NO ODER – which is good for me since I am a non-smoker and I do not like my 13 month old daughter around it too!
The link I went to was:

Its amazing and there are different levels of nicotine. My husband is now on the 4mg which is the lowest and after that you can order ca cartages that have no nicotine in them, just flavor.
It really is awesome!
