how do you quit smoking for real without gaining weight?

I have been smoking for 30+ years and want to quit. I am afraid of gaining a ton of weight. I won’t take perscription drugs. I need some help. Is there an herbal supplement that has no side effects that works?

  1. a friend of mine quit cold turkey and used carrot sticks celery sticks apples etc to curb the oral fixation and since those are low in calories didnt gain much weight at all

  2. If you don’t quit smoking you die. If you become obese you die. Don’t do either unless you want to go six feet under. Strong mentality is greater than any other cure.

  3. not smoking doesn’t make you gain weight. The reason people generally gain weight when quitting smoking is snacking. In order to satisfy the oral fixation you have developed you will want to eat, and people generally go for things like chips. Try keeping a lot of raw vegetables in your house like carrots and celery. that way you can snack and satisfy that oral need without the junkfood intake that will certainly lead to significant weight gain.

  4. 23 years of smoking have been off the smokes around 5 months now.
