I was told that smoking cigs effects the quality of your eggs. I was wondering how long after I quit will the damage of smoking start to reverse so my husband and I can start to try?

I don’t think it matters, but if it helps I got pregnant 2 weeks after I quit smoking!
I think it’s never, because you’re born with all the eggs you’ll ever have; you don’t make more. If damage has been done to them, then they’ll just stay damaged, but obviously they’re not all damaged, since heavy smokers get knocked up all the time. Good luck.

Smoking is detrimental to your overall health, but has not direct bearing on your eggs. Quitting smoking will better prepare your body for PREGNANCY, but it won’t improve the quality of your eggs or get you pregnant sooner.
