well… that’s nice. you help save you body and the whole world. if you fell the urge of smoking chew some chewing gums perhaps. eat candies, do something to sweeten your taste.
I wouldn’t eat candies as suggested, because you are going to gain weight since you stopped smoking anyway…why increase the risk?
You have been going through withdrawl, so the symptom you describe is normal…what you really need to do is alter your routine. When you think about it, there were normal triggers that would cause you to smoke…while driving, you normally lit up at the same time every day. Go a different route.
You will need to do something with your hands to keep the urge away to light up…play with a rubber band, chew sugar free gum, chew on a straw. Do something to keep the mind from reacting to you not having a smoke. The hand and mind work together, so keep them engaged and you should see a decrease in your anxiety and cravings. You may also want to invest in some SAMe…don’t know what is in it that makes it work, but it sure does. You will be less anxious.
Stay away from other smokers, too. You feel less less desire to smoke again. BEST OF ALL, CONGRATULATIONS AND KEEP IT UP!!!!
