What natural things are there to help me quit smoking?

I want to quit smoking and I’m allergic to the patch. I wanted to know what are some natural ways to quit smoking like stuff at the health food store and stuff like that. I have heard of the St. John’s Wort but I also wanted to keep looking. I can’t quit cold turkey. I have tried at that several times and I failed.

  1. Lobellia. My mother had a hard time quitting, and this really helped. It tricks the brain into thinking its nicotine, but there are no side affects. You can get it at a health food store, buy the drops, not a powder or anything else. Take it directly or in juice etc. You use 3-10 drops, throughout the day. It tastes like tobacco πŸ˜›
It also relaxes muscles and (well, with me anyway) makes you happy.

I have never smoked myself, but I bought it for my mother and she uses it. She keeps a small dropper-bottle in her purse for on-the go use.
Try not to smoke anything, not an herb to help you quit or nothing. Smoking is a habit of the mouth, and most people who try to smoke an alternative, dont always quit right, or go back to the habit years later. And smoking anything still will damage the lungs, so quit slowly, my mom did it in over 2 1/2 weeks.

  2. crazy idea. but watch how amazed you will be.

buy an ounce of salvia leaves. an ounce costs maybe 15$ online and is legal in almost all states.

buy a cig roller, ( makes your own cigs)

every time you urge to smoke a ciggarette, smoke your home made ones. Salvia contains a slight effect that triggers many sences. Is it addicting? farthest thing from it. Is it enjoying? YES

smoking extracts of it will mess you up tho. It could make you trip hard. How safe is it? The only deaths ever caused by salvia were the things they did in that 5 minutes of being high from a HIGH dose of extract, because thought they were superman.

  3. The only way is will power. If you don’t want to quit you won’t. Boone else can do anything about it or for you if you don’t accept responsibility for your own future and use will power to achieve what you want. There is no easy way otherwise.

  4. Due to the unpleasantness of the withdrawal symptoms, many people who try to quit smoking end up replacing the cigarettes with some other type of addiction. This may be an addiction to prescription medication, such as sleeping tablets or tranquilizers, or an addiction to food. While you will definitely experience the health benefits of giving up nicotine, no one wants to replace one addiction with another!

A healthy diet, adequate exercise as well as natural and holistic treatments such as acupuncture, massage and herbal and homeopathic remedies can also help the smoker overcome nicotine addiction. Herbal and homeopathic treatments are a safe and effective means to reduce nicotine cravings (without giving you more nicotine) and will also help to prevent weight gain and alleviate anxiety and irritability. Basically, natural and holistic treatments not only lessen the urge to smoke, but also help you to restore balance in your body.

There are a number of ingredients such as Avena sativa, Garcinia cambogia and Gotu Cola (Centella asiatica) which will help to address the symptoms of nicotine withdrawal. They reduce nicotine cravings and balance the mood.

  5. I quit smoking about 6 months ago and I found 2 products that helped me from an online natural supplement store. The first was called Smoke Deter that helped with the cravings and the second is called Nicocure that helped remove the toxins. I got these two products at http://www.NaturalLifeInstitute.com – Good Luck

  6. I’ve tried just about every method there is out there and there is only one I can recommend – NLP! It eliminates the cravings.
Gum patches and all the other just did not cut it for me, not to mention cold turkey which was the hardest, I even tried the electric cig and it is just no match to the real thing.
