So my friends doesn’t want to quit yet and I know in order for someone to quit they need to want to do it. How can I get him to want to quit!? Just worried about him in the future…I believe he has been smoking for 6 years..

How do I get my common law boyfriend/father of my child to quit smoking weed?

I feel like I have tried everything to get him to stop, but he does it every day at least 3 or 4 times per day and he plans on never quiting. It’s like his whole identity. Has anyone ever found a way to get someone to quit smoking weed Ohhh pleasse tell me. Our girl is 6 months old and I don’t want her to grow up with a pot head for a father.

Well im a 21 yr old female and I have bipolar disorder and I would love to quit smoking and lose weight and hope to keep it off but im just afraid that I will do all that and lose my mind in the process so im just looking for easy ways or some suggestions??? Im a bit afraid of going crazy

How do I convince a relative to quit smoking while pregnant?

My father and step-mother are expecting their first child in 6 months and I’m really excited about it. HOWEVER, my step-mom has not quit smoking and isn’t showing any signs of planning to quit. It has me really upset because I know how harmful that can be for the baby and I really want my brother or sister to be healthy, My step-mother has already had one miscarriage within the last year and we all want to avoid that happening again, but I don’t know how to bring up how much her smoking is bothering me. Any suggestions?

My dad has been smoking for over 30 years. He smokes probably around 40-50 cigarettes per day.
I know about the harmful substances in cigarettes and I’ve talked to him about what they do to people’s health, he still doesn’t care. I don’t want to lose my dad. How can I get him to quit smoking?

I don’t smoke, I’m just curious. How hard is it to quit smoking? I know Nicotine is one of the most addictive drugs, apparently. Please, people who’ve tried to quit (whether you’ve failed or succeeded), what’s it like? Why is it so hard? What’s it like to quit smoking?
